Within swrmgr, it says the drivers are installed, but I can’t physically find any of the files the system claims to have installed. I am installing all this logged in as root. It appears the tools application is not being installed. Open icon catalog and see the Wacom tab, however there is nothing showing up. Open serial device manager and added the Wacom device to serial port 2. Installed Wacom 4.8 “Wacom tools” application only… did not install drivers or man pages. Wacom is plugged inot com2 serial port with the power adaptor connected.įrom swrmgr, installed the “optional input devices” subsystem from the foundation 1 and overlay 1 cds. Installed a fresh version of Irix 6.5.22 (standard installation using foundation 1&2, overlays 1-3 and applications 2003. I can’t remember the what version of Irix I was using at that time. About 4 years ago, I had no issues installing the Wacom tablet onto my Octane MXI.
